Hello, my name is Akshay Malhotra, and I am the Chair for this Ad Hoc Special Committee. I am currently a junior at Langley High School and have been involved in MUN for around three years.


During my time in MUN, I’ve participated in a wide range of committees, from traditional General Assemblies to fast-paced crisis simulations, which have helped shape my approach to debate, leadership, and collaboration. Serving as Chair, my goal is to create an engaging and challenging committee environment where delegates are encouraged to think creatively, work diplomatically, and fully immerse themselves in the unique nature of an Ad Hoc committee.

I'm very excited to see how this committee unfolds, especially with the unique nature of the topic, and I look forward to seeing solutions that are very creative and fit the nature of your character, rather than basic solutions.
