Chair Bios: Chair: Hi delegates, my name is Vikhyat Duddilla, and I will be your chair for this Brain Rot committee. I am super excited to chair this crisis committee, and I hope that it will be really fun for me, my co-chair, and everyone else in this committee. I am currently a sophomore at Langley, and have been doing Model UN since 7th grade. Aside from MUN, I also love to play tennis, hang out with my friends, and eat Chipotle.
Co-Chair: Hello delegates! I'm Azra Topo and I will be your co-chair for the brain rot committee at VIMUNC. I'm absolutely thrilled to be co-chairing for a crisis committee. Currently, I’m a freshman and I have been doing Model UN since middle school like all of you. In addition to Model UN, I do debate at JV level. I know how stressful it can get in middle school committees, especially in crisis. As a person who has done Model UN in middle school, looking back I'm so grateful that I had the chance to do it because it absolutely helped me so much. I had the best time with my friends discussing world issues or even just characters from a book. Therefore, I just want everyone in my committee to focus on gaining experience even if you have to step out of your comfort zone, no pain no gain:) Most importantly, make sure you have fun and collect some core memories with your friends. I just have some ground rules, no passive aggressive diplomacy whatsoever. I absolutely used to hate when delegates would not focus on resolutions but would be restating "let's all take a step back" or "let them speak" over and over again to the point that unmods would be wasted just for the chairs to hear fake diplomacy. However, I value real diplomacy and I believe that everyone can speak up for themselves. That being said, I also do not want any delegates power delling or not letting anyone speak at all. Finally, extra bonus points for the delegates that actually portray their characters well just for the fun!
