Hola Amigos, welcome to the one and only VIMUNC XII! My name is Varenya Immidisetti and I’m a sophomore at Langley High School. This is my second year doing Model UN and I am SO glad I chose to join this club. Outside of MUN, I play volleyball and cello, and love trying new Celsius flavors. I know you guys must be nervous for committee, but take a deep breath and remember this conference is about gaining experience and, most importantly, having fun. Once in committee, please remember to stay diplomatic and kind to other delegates. Whether this is your first conference or one of many, there is so much you can learn from and gain. I look forward to hearing your unique solutions, creative speeches, and meeting all of you! One last thing: if you’re feeling nervous, DO NOT drink an energy drink! Good luck to everyone and see you at VIMUNC!

Hello Delegates, welcome to VIMUNC XII! It’s so exciting to have the privilege of co-chairing the Geneva Convention 1949 for you all. I’m looking forward to hearing all of your creative solutions and seeing some respectful competition. As someone who has done Model UN for 4 years, I understand you all may be feeling stressed but I urge you to remember that Model UN is about stepping out and having fun, not just awarding. Make sure to come to committee confident and prepared and if you have any questions please feel free to reach out to me. I can’t wait to meet you all and I hope you will all have a great time at VIMUNC!
