Hey everyone! My name is Eesha Kaushik, your JCC Czar. Welcome to Harry Potter: Order of the Phoenix! I am so excited to be your crisis director and I’m eagerly awaiting your creative solutions and outlandish directives. I’ve been part of Langley MUN for three years now, as I’m a junior, and I have absolutely adored all the memories I’ve created along the way. 
Apart from this, I run the Medicine and Disease Club here, and I’m hoping to pursue medicine after graduation. In my personal life, I adore reading, with some of my all time favorites being the Percy Jackson series and The Fetch Duology. Also, my top watched TV shows include Criminal Minds, Suits, the Witcher, Daredevil, and Game of Thrones. I love music and concerts, and I’ll listen to just about anything, but I’m partial to 80s rock and 2000s hip hop. 
In my years of being a Model UN delegate, Crisis has always been my passion. It’s where I’ve accomplished both my best achievements and greatest memories, which is why I’m especially grateful that I can spread my love to all of you at VIMUNC. During these two days, I encourage each and every one of you to employ every resource in your inventory, as wild and imaginary as they may seem, to make this the most fun wizarding experience possible. Don’t be afraid to push the limits of both the committee and yourself! Despite this being a competitive setting, I truly hope every delegate will leave having learned something new, whether it be about Model UN, Harry Potter, or even themselves. I’m so excited to meet you all in committee where you can show of your amazing skills and ideas. My best advice to all the delegates joining me this weekend is: Be bold, be creative, and above all have fun!

Hi guys! My name is Leyla Ozden and I am a freshman at Langley High School. This is my first year doing model un, and while I was definitely nervous at my first conference this year, being in  MUN has turned out to be an amazing experience. I play JV basketball here at Langley and I plan on trying out for soccer in the spring. While you may feel anxious in this conference, make sure that above all you enjoy yourself and have fun. Make friends, form bonds, and have a good time overall. I love to see unique solutions, diplomatic debate, and attention-grabbing speeches.  I can’t wait to see what you guys come up with, and feel free to reach out to me at [email protected]
