Hello everyone, and welcome to VIMUNC XIII! My name is Alexander Frey, and I’m a sophomore at Langley High School. This is my third year doing Model UN. What I love about MUN is how many people you get to know and communicate with from all across the world, and it makes you realize that you have so much in common with people that you didn’t even know existed. Outside of MUN, I enjoy playing the cello in Langley’s top orchestra, running on the track team, soccer, cooking, and poker night with my friends.
The Fall of the Western Roman Empire is such an important topic that pops up in almost every world history class that you will take! There are so many interesting events that occurred, and it is so beautifully complex! There are a million different ways this committee could go, and I am looking forward to everyone’s great ideas and solutions! Hi delegates, my name is Sam Doan! I will be chair for this committee! I am a sophomore at Langley who just started doing MUN this year. Outside of MUN, I enjoy binging through shows and movies, editing videos, and watching Lamine Yamal play soccer (would love to talk about this!). The fall of the Roman Empire is not just exclusive to this committee, as it continues to stay relevant in high school history.
