Hi! My name is Winnie Emerick and I am a junior at Langley High School. I have been doing Model UN since middle school and I am a huge history nerd, which is why this committee is an absolute dream come true! Outside of MUN I am a pretty stereotypical theatre kid so I am excited to see creative solutions and enthusiastic participation during committee. I also love Dimitri Shostakovich’s 7th symphony, which he composed about the Siege of Leningrad while he was trapped within the city, so bonus points if you listen to it before VIMUNC! Hello! My name is Celine Akel, and I’m so excited to be chairing City Under Fire: The Siege of Leningrad for VIMUNC XIII! I am a junior at Langley High School, and this is my third year doing Model UN. Outside of Model UN, I love to hang out with my friends and family, listen to music, and play the piano.
