Dear Delegates,
My name is Owen Braniff and I will be your Chair for this JCC. I have been doing Model UN for over four years, and as your chair, I can assure you that this will be a fun experience for all of us. I can only guarantee one thing, this committee will not run smoothly. I am excited to see what you all come up with to deal with the crisis at hand. I expect to see creativity in your solutions, and flexibility in your actions as things will be moving very quickly in committee. A bit about me, I am currently a Senior at Langley and I aspire to major in economics and political science. And just like every other political science major, I eventually want to run for a federal office. Additionally, as I am a senior I have to give you all unsolicited advice. If you ever fail at something it's okay to try again, however, if you repeatedly fail over three years you should give up. This is going to be a tremendous weekend, and I hope you all enjoy the conference.
